Our Story

Baked by Nicola began in 2021 when we returned to the UK from the South of France because of a combination of Brexit and the global pandemic. Inspired by the excellence of European patisserie and a lifetime spent travelling the world we combine only the finest ingredients with specially developed delicious recipes. Baked by Nicola now sells a daily selection of cookies, cupcakes and brownies both online and in-store through carefully selected resellers.

We have a philosophy of balance - a balance of old techniques and new ones, of different ingredients and flavours, and of passion and skill subtly enhanced by new technology.

We work with a handful of carefully selected suppliers to source all of the natural ingredients that go into our products. For example, our chocolate can be traced to the grower at source; we insist on the freshest free-range eggs; we do not use any artificial additives or colourings and so on. All of this goodness is then baked with skill and care by bakers who put passion into each and every item they produce. We strongly believe it is very important that food not only tastes great but is also nutritious and healthy at the same time.
